Tying the Knot At Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Grounds: A Unique Historic Landmark Venue

Thinking about getting married in a unique spot? Historic coastal wedding venues offer a truly distinctive space for wedding couples. The Ponce DeLeon Inlet Lighthouse and Museum offers you the opportunity to utilize the lighthouse grounds as a special Central Florida wedding venue. The Lighthouse has the honor of hosting exceptional Ponce Inlet weddings throughout the year.

A designated area on the historic grounds of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse will accommodate smaller, intimate ceremonies consisting of up to 50 guests. Experience a one-hour ceremony in a designated, open grassy area in view of this lovely beacon during our regular operating hours. A site has been chosen on the museum grounds which offers the maximum amount of semi-privacy and seclusion possible.

Imagine you and your guests enjoying your memorable event with the backdrop of this National Historic Landmark. Make lasting memories in sight of Ponce’s magnificent, gorgeous Venetian red and black tower and be a part of its treasured history. Celebrate your own special commitment within view of this beautiful, National Historic Landmark.

Since its founding in 1972, the Ponce De Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association has been committed to the preservation and dissemination of the social and maritime history associated with the Light Station, and to educate the public about its important role in national, state, and local history since its completion in 1887. Open to the public year-round, the site is now home to numerous lighthouses, maritime, and regional history exhibits including one of the largest collections of rare Fresnel lenses in the world.

You may choose to tailor your wedding ceremony to match the light station or nautical theme. You may choose to utilize your own officiant, or the lighthouse offers a volunteer officiant dressed in 1930’s era lighthouse keeper attire for a  fee of $50.  These volunteers are ordained ministers of the Universal Life Church.

Some ideas for preparing for your special day at the lighthouse include:
