Walk and Talk: Building the Lighthouse

Discover the incredible story behind the construction of one of Florida’s most iconic landmarks! Join us for this month’s Walk & Talk Tour—Building the Lighthouse—as a Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Tour Guide takes you through the fascinating process of how this towering beacon was designed, engineered, and built to stand the test of time.

Learn about the challenges faced by 19th-century builders, the innovations that made the Lighthouse possible, and the visionaries who helped bring it to life. This in-depth guided experience offers a new perspective on the craftsmanship and determination that shaped the Ponce Inlet Light Station.

The tour will last approximately two hours, beginning with a welcome in the Gift Shop Conference Room followed by a guided walk through the Lighthouse and Museum grounds.
