Thanksgiving Gifts Event

The National Historic Landmark Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum invites you to enjoy a more relaxed alternative to Black Friday shopping on Friday, November 27, 2026!

Instead of navigating crowded stores, spend the day exploring local history, discovering fascinating artifacts, and enjoying special activities for the whole family at the lighthouse.

Special programs will be offered from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM and are included with regular admission. Lighthouse staff and docents will host engaging workshops, educational programs, and a fun kids’ craft.

Visitors can climb Florida’s tallest lighthouse tower and take in spectacular views from the gallery. Explore the station’s historic buildings, now home to museum exhibits that tell the story of the American lighthouse service and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Discover fascinating artifacts, historic collections, and the nationally acclaimed Ponce Inlet Lens Museum, featuring restored Fresnel lenses, the first modern lighthouse optics.

Make a day of it with family and friends, enjoy a little local history, and discover a different way to spend your Thanksgiving weekend.
