An Iconic Ride to a Historic Landmark

Welcome Bikers! Experience Daytona Bike Week at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse & Pacetti Hotel Museum

Daytona Bike Week is back for 2025, and there’s no better place to ride than the scenic stretch of A1A leading to Ponce Inlet! Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a first-time visitor, make sure to put the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and the Historic Pacetti Hotel Museum on your must-visit list. With breathtaking ocean views, incredible local dining, and rich history, Ponce Inlet is the perfect destination for bikers looking for a memorable stop during the rally.

An Iconic Ride to a Historic Landmark

Few rides compare to cruising down South Atlantic Avenue (A1A) with the ocean breeze at your back. This picturesque route takes you past some of the most stunning coastal views in Florida, leading to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse – Florida’s tallest lighthouse standing at 175 feet. With its iconic red brick tower and rich maritime history, the lighthouse is one of the best-preserved historic light stations in the country and a must-see for any rider looking to experience a piece of Old Florida.

Climb, Explore, and Take in the View

Bikers visiting the lighthouse can climb 203 steps to the top for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, Ponce Inlet, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Explore the museum’s historic keepers’ dwellings and exhibits, which showcase the history of the lighthouse, shipwrecks, and the lives of the keepers who once maintained this beacon of light.

The Historic Pacetti Hotel Museum: A Step Back in Time

Just across the street, the Pacetti Hotel Museum offers a glimpse into Ponce Inlet’s rich past. Built in the late 1800s, the hotel was a haven for travelers, fishermen, and adventurers. Today, the museum preserves the stories of those who shaped the town’s history. Step inside to learn about the early days of Ponce Inlet, its deep ties to the local fishing industry, and the people who made it what it is today.

Great Eats & Coastal Vibes

After exploring the lighthouse and museum, fuel up at one of Ponce Inlet’s biker-friendly waterfront restaurants. From fresh seafood to classic American fare, local favorites like Racing’s North Turn, Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill, Off the Hook, and Down the Hatch offer delicious meals with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views of the marina and boats coming in from the Atlantic.
