Come celebrate your Spring vacation with a day of fun, good eating, and adventure in Ponce Inlet. Start your day off by visiting the Ponce DeLeon Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. Discover the fascinating story of this historic landmark as you climb 203 steps to the top of Florida’s tallest light station.   Walk around the top of the light for a 360-degree view of Ponce. Get a gorgeous bird’s-eye view in all directions.

Explore exhibits and well-preserved artifacts. Learn more about those who maintained and operated the lighthouse over the years. Experience what it was like to live and work as a lightkeeper in Ponce Inlet.

The town of Ponce Inlet is a great same-day destination spot with so much to offer its visitors.  Before or after your lighthouse visit, discover parks, fun activities, the beach and restaurants where you can relax, rejuvenate, and celebrate Spring. There is so much to explore in Ponce Inlet.

Down The Hatch Seafood Company is located at the end of Beach Street on the Halifax River. Enjoy indoor or outdoor dining overlooking the river while listening to live music. Watch the sports fishing boats go by and you might see a pod of breaching dolphin. This was one of the original fish camps in the area. The history of this restaurant is intriguing. Hidden Treasure Rum Bar and Grill is located just on the other side of the park. Enjoy mostly outdoor dining overlooking the water of the Inlet. Jerry’s Italian Grill and Tiki Bar is the only Italian restaurant in Ponce Inlet. If you are in the mood for some delicious Italian cuisine or pizza, you will love this unique place!  Off The Hook Restaurant can be found on the Halifax River at the end of Inlet Harbor Road. Racing’s North Turn Restaurant is the only restaurant located directly on the beach in Ponce Inlet. You will enjoy driving or walking on the Ponce Inlet Beach which you can access either through Lighthouse Point Park at the end of Atlantic Avenue or by driving directly on the beach at the last ramp at Atlantic Avenue and Beach Street in Ponce Inlet.

Ponce Inlet is also home to the Marine Science Center. Discover and learn about Volusia County’s rich marine life. Through innovative learning experiences, visitors can observe seabird and sea turtle rehabilitation, get hands-on within a teaching lab, and explore the exhibits.
