5 Places to Eat During Your Ponce Lighthouse Visit

Among being one of the top unique, quality historic experiences for tourists, Ponce Inlet offers a variety of eateries that will keep you fueled during your excursion. Read on to learn some of the best and most popular restaurants that will serve as the perfect top off to your lighthouse tour.

Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grille

Featuring 3 locations between Port Orange, Flagler, and Ponce Inlet, you’ll get all you need in the forms of food and fun by visiting this popular and eclectic establishment. Enjoy sipping one of their famous cocktails on the deck while overlooking the beautiful blue waters of the inlet. Hidden Treasure also hosts live music regularly, showing off some of the area’s happening local music scene. You’ll love the laid-back atmosphere and live entertainment while you eat one of their award-winning burgers or Hidden Treasure’s Signature seafood boil in foil. Additionally, if you’re looking for a place where Happy Hour never ends, Hidden Treasure is your place to go; they offer it seven days a week. After your meal and accompaniments, make sure to thank the owners for being sponsors of Ponce Lighthouse’s monthly Climb to the Moon event when you go – and maybe be inspired to make some reservations for our next climb!

Racings North Turn Beach Bar & Grille

Racings North Turn Beach Bar & Grille will bring you in with its racing history, and keep you there with its delectable food and inviting atmosphere. Open for over two decades, and voted the Best Beach Bar for 9 years in a row (nearly half of its lifespan), this casual oceanfront establishment boasts some of Florida’s most heavenly decadent seafood, like bacon-wrapped sea scallops and baked crab-stuffed mushrooms. The live entertainment and full liquor bar will keep you seated long past your meal, so make sure to keep their famous rum runners coming! Lastly, don’t forget to thank the owners Walt and Rhonda Glasnak for being corporate members of the Lighthouse Preservation Association when you visit.

Jerry’s Italian Grill & Tiki Bar

For some casual Italian food with a coastal flair, you won’t want to miss stopping by Jerry’s Italian Grill and Tiki Bar for a relaxing and distinctly unique dining experience. Boasting one of the best draft beer selections in Ponce Inlet and offering your very own 20 oz. take-home souvenir Tiki Man Glass with the purchase of one of these beers, you’ll find yourself well on your way to recharging with one of these keepers; you may need it after all the climbing you do at the lighthouse! Complement your Tiki beer with a specialty calzone, fruitti di mare, or one of their many other popular menu items.

Down the Hatch Seafood Restaurant

A long-time Ponce Inlet staple since its opening in 1975, you’ll find a little bit of everything delicious at Down the Hatch. Specializing in seafood but serving up just about anything you might be craving, you’ll want to start with their trusted special recipe “She” Crab Soup; make sure to ask for a shot of sherry on the side! Some other hearty options at this dynamic waterfront paradise include the Bang Bang shrimp, spicy Spanish snapper, and smoked gouda salmon.

Off the Hook Raw Bar and Grille

Located just west of South Peninsula Drive at the end of Inlet Harbor Road, Off the Hook Raw Bar and Grill offers fresh local seafood in a fun and entertaining pet-friendly environment. Enjoy live music and spectacular views of the Halifax River and Florida’s famous sunsets as you sip on a cold tasty beverage and snack on delicious appetizers including Off the Hook’s famous wings, middle-neck clams, shrimp, oysters, and more.  Be sure to try one of their tantalizing main courses that include all your favorites from both land and sea before diving into a slice of key lime pie or delicious chocolate volcano.
