4 Things To Do With Your Valentine In Ponce Inlet

It’s that time of year again, and everybody needs something special to do with their sweetheart. There’s no better place to find some romance than Ponce Inlet so take your partner’s hand and spend the day with us making some priceless memories you’ll never forget!

Ponce Inlet Lighthouse
At the forefront of our Valentine’s Day list activities, our very own Lighthouse not only serves as one of Ponce Inlet’s finest treasures but also as an ideal destination for you and your partner on this special day. Join us from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM for our 16th Annual Beach Racing Day to get hands-on with the roots of stock car racing on the World’s Most Famous Beach! We will have historic beach racing cars as well as drivers, owners, and mechanics who all played a part in the saga of racing. Former historian at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Buz McKim, as well as racing historian and author, William Lazarus, will be speaking and meeting with guests throughout the afternoon. Stop by the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum to get involved!

Of course, it’s always a treat to climb to the top of our lighthouse and watch the sunset together with your significant other. There is no better way to shut out the rest of the world than to get the best view of the setting sun while you’re with your partner.

The Beach at Ponce Inlet

Speaking of sunsets, Ponce Inlet’s beach is the only one in Volusia County where the sun sets directly ahead of you. Take your shoes off and walk hand-in-hand down Ponce Inlet’s beautiful beach while the sun rises or sets right in front. With plenty of free parking just off the beach, it’s extremely accessible and waiting for you to show up with your sweetie and listen to the waves or splash in the water.

Ponce Inlet Watersports

If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous to do with your partner, we highly recommend stopping by Ponce Inlet Watersports to scratch your itch. They offer many different services that include eco-tours in search of dolphins and manatees, as well as stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. If you’re looking for an even better view than our very own lighthouse, look no further. Experience Ponce Inlet like never before with any of these incredible options.

Grab Dinner at a Local Restaurant

What better way to spend your Valentine’s evening than at dinner with your date, enjoying fresh seafood or sipping on a cocktail? Fortunately, there are plenty of fantastic local options right in our Ponce Inlet neighborhood. If you want to really wind down and relax, grab a drink at Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill located directly across from the lighthouse, Jerry’s Italian Grill & Tiki Bar, or Racing’s North Turn Beach Bar & Grille while you enjoy the company of your Valentine. Down The Hatch Seafood Company and Off The Hook offer breath-taking views of the Halifax River as well as delicious seafood dishes made fresh. Of course, no dinner is complete without dessert so be sure to stop by Lighthouse Ice Cream to satisfy your sweet tooth at the end of the night.
