Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is currently searching for a conscientious, professional, and experienced individual to join its maintenance team. Job responsibilities include custodial, light construction, historic restoration, and grounds maintenance. Applicants should possess general construction skills and experience in the use of hand and power tools. Professional experience in the construction trades, cabinetry work, or historic preservation and restoration is preferred. Applicants must be capable of performing manual labor under various weather conditions. Due to the nature of the position, applicants should be in good physical condition and able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, climb a ladder up to 16 feet, ascend 9 flights of stairs on multiple occasions throughout the day, and lift objects in excess of 50 pounds with proper safety equipment. Applicants must be available for opening and closing shifts, Sunday through Saturday (including some holidays). The ideal candidate possesses a "can-do", team-oriented attitude. Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and personal initiative are a few of the qualities that we are looking for in a new employee. The current job opening is for 1-2 part-time positions although full-time would be considered based on the applicant's experience and work history. Gift Shop Sales Associate

The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is hiring for part-time sales associates in our gift shop! Permanent positions are available. *24-32 Hours/Week* The main responsibilities of this position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales of merchandise, admissions, memberships and donations, merchandising, and informing guests of museum and gift shop offerings. Please feel free to come in the gift shop from 10AM-6PM and fill out a paper application.
