Special programs are from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The lighthouse staff and its docents will offer workshops\, programs and a kid’s craft.\n\n\n\n\n\nClimbing Florida’s tallest lighthouse tower with its spectacular view from the gallery is always a special treat. In addition\, the station’s many historic buildings\, now museums\, are devoted to the chronicle of the American lighthouse service and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse story. Are you looking for an opportunity to socialize with others and contribute to a worthy cause? Does the opportunity to learn new things and instill a love of history and culture in others excite you? If you answered yes to any of these questions\, then the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is the place for you! We’re looking for new volunteers to help the museum meet it’s growing educational programming needs. Current lighthouse volunteer opportunities include: \n\nMuseum Tour Guide\nTower Monitor\nLiving History Interpreter\nCostuming Assistant\nSeamstress/Tailor\nWorkshop Facilitator\nEvents Assistant/Coordinator\nEducational Outreach Facilitator\n\nPrevious docent or teaching experience is not required and complete training is provided to all volunteers.
