DESCRIPTION:This month’s Volunteer Meeting will be held on\, 12/14/27 beginning at 11:00 AM in the Education Building. \nThis meeting will also be open for new volunteer applicants: Do you have a passion for history that you would like to share with young and old alike? Are you looking for an opportunity to socialize with others and contribute to a worthy cause? Does the opportunity to learn new things and instill a love of history and culture in others excite you? If you answered yes to any of these questions\, then the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is the place for you! We’re looking for new volunteers to help the museum meet it’s growing educational programming needs. Current lighthouse volunteer opportunities include: \n\nMuseum Tour Guide\nTower Monitor\nLiving History Interpreter\nCostuming Assistant\nSeamstress/Tailor\nWorkshop Facilitator\nEvents Assistant/Coordinator\nEducational Outreach Facilitator\n\nPrevious docent or teaching experience is not required and complete training is provided to all volunteers. In appreciation for their valuable contribution to the museum\, volunteers are provided with a free annual membership\, scheduled luncheons\, off-site field trips\, and an annual volunteer award dinner. \nIf you’re interested in volunteering\, just show up!
