DESCRIPTION:Did you know that the first building built by our new nation was a lighthouse?*  Kick off your 4th of July at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum! Discover the fascinating story of this important National Historic Landmark as you climb 203 steps to the top of Florida’s tallest lighthouse and explore the largest\, best preserved\, and most authentic light station in the country. \nSpecial family-oriented activities are scheduled on the light station’s grounds between the hours of 10:30am and 2:30pm\, including kid-friendly crafts and historic reenactors. \nThe Lighthouse & Museum will be open to the public on July 4\, 2026 from 10 AM – 9 PM. (Last admission at 8 PM)
