Join a Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Tour Guide to explore the fascinating technology and innovation that helped mariners navigate safely for more than a century. \nLearn how Fresnel lenses revolutionized lighthouse illumination\, discover the mechanics behind the beacon’s powerful light\, and see firsthand how science and engineering came together to guide ships along Florida’s coast. This illuminating experience offers a perfect blend of history and hands-on discovery for curious minds of all ages. \nThe tour will last approximately two hours\, beginning with a welcome in the Gift Shop Conference Room followed by a guided walk through the Lighthouse and Museum grounds. \nIncluded with regular paid admission.Registration is required\, as space is limited. \nTo register\, please contact the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Programs Department at 386-761-1821 ext. 18 or email education@ponceinlet.org.
